Components of a quality LED lighting

The LED lamp looks generally compact and simple, but in general it is a complex electronic semiconductor device, the quality of the components of which determines both the quality of light and the durability of its operation. Let's look at what the LED lamp consists of:

1. Actually, LEDs, which are mounted on a special board. In Lumita luminaires, we use only high-quality LEDs from global manufacturers Cree, Bridgelux and Osram. They have a high light output, which means that even at low power they shine brightly.

Also, high-quality LEDs do not lose their brightness for many years and shine equally well. Unfortunately, cheap no name LEDs cannot boast of such parameters. Therefore, when choosing a lamp, pay attention to the LED from which manufacturer it uses.

2. During operation, the LEDs heat up and fail due to overheating. To prevent this from happening, most of the lamp is occupied by a radiator, which constantly removes heat from the LED. Aluminum removes heat most efficiently, so in high-quality fixtures, the radiator is made of it, and not of plastic. Well, the heavier the radiator, the better - this means the manufacturer does not save on aluminum this time, such a radiator will better remove heat, that's two. It is with such radiators that Lumita lamps are completed. Also in some luminaires, the luminaire body itself serves as a radiator, which also must be made of aluminum in order to perform its cooling function well.

3. Optics. In order for the light from the LED to turn into comfortable, pleasant and non-dazzling lighting, you need good optics - special reflectors or lenses that are installed on top of the LEDs. The optics in Lumita luminaires provide uniform and correct light.

4. LEDs operate on direct current, so each luminaire is equipped with a driver that converts the alternating current of the network into direct current. The quality of the driver determines the durability of the LEDs, as well as one of the main indicators of the quality of light - the ripple coefficient. Lumita luminaires use high-tech, high-quality drivers that eliminate flicker and ensure the longest possible operation of the device.

5. An important role is played by how accurately and accurately the luminaire is assembled as a whole, is there anything hanging in it, what sealing agents are used, and so on. By such "little things" you can also determine how well the lamp is made.

All Lumita products are made from high quality materials, with the observance of technologies and under strict control. therefore, you can be sure that the light from Lumita will be the right one, the most comfortable and will delight you for many years.
