Lighting in the children's room

The choice of light for a child's room should be approached especially carefully, because the physical and emotional health of the child depends on its quality. We have prepared a short cheat sheet for you, what you should pay attention to first of all.

• Color rendering index. It's CRI, the higher it is, the better. After all, then the colors in the room will look natural and the child will see objects as they really are, and not their distorted color in the light of a low-quality lamp. We recommend choosing light with a CRI of 90+.

• Colorful temperature. 2700K is too warm and relaxing for a nursery, 4000K is too cold and invigorating. Choose a light with a neutral color temperature of 3000K, with such light the child will be comfortable to study, play, and get ready for bed.

• Safety. Choose from built-in, overhead or track magnetic lights. It is better not to use ordinary track tracks, because. there is high voltage on the contacts of the standard track.

• Sufficiency of light. There should be a sufficient number of lamps and sufficient power so that every corner of the nursery is well lit. If you find it difficult to decide how many and what kind of lamps you need, please contact us, we will make an accurate light calculation for free.

And of course, the Lumita assortment includes a large number of lamps that are perfect for a nursery, especially:

• Carmel series with high CRI 95+

• Built-in Rada - thanks to IP54 protection, the luminaires are not afraid of water, which can always appear in the nursery in the most unexpected way

• Embedded Ren with high CRI and brightness

• Luminaires from the Magnet Pro series - safe low voltage tracks will save ceiling height, and luminaires of the high CRI series will provide the right light.

All the best goes to children, and in matters of light this is especially true.
